Please join us at our 6th Annual Bob Best Memorial Golf Outing to benefit the Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Annual Campaign!
Bob Best, his wife Lisa, and children were longtime members of the YMCA. Through their Y experience, they saw firsthand the great benefits the Y had provided to families in need. After Bob’s sudden passing in 2018, family and friends created the Bob Best Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor Bob. Because of their love for the Y, they decided the Saratoga Regional YMCA will be the recipient of the funds raised through the golf outing. Additionally, because of her career in teaching, Lisa found that many at-risk students who were given financial assistance to the Y benefited from the positive influence the Y had on them. The YMCA utilizes the Bob Best Memorial Fund to support youth in need in our communities, in areas such as membership, youth sports programming, and childcare. To date, we have hosted five golf fundraisers for this fund and have raised over $125,000 to support community members in need.
